State Minister for Education & Professional Training Ms Wajeeha Qamar visited Government Polytechnic Institute for women today. Principal GPIW warmly welcomed the Minister of State, later on briefed about the institution,s achievements, Strategies and future plans. Ms Wajeeha Qamar inaugurated tree plantation drive by planting a tree. The state Minister while addressing the students and faculty focussed on developing curriculum according to the needs of industry. She opined that technical education plays a pivotal role in building societies. She further added that the Ministry is keen to encourage technical education especially for females. She louded that new technology may be equipped in Labs to enable students to cope with the latest technology.
