Computer information technology (CIT) is the use and study of computers, networks, computer languages and databases within an organization to solve real problems. The major subjects prepare students for application programming, networking, systems administration and internet development.
In the present age the use of computer has become a necessity in every sphere of life. Computer literacy is being given the highest priority in developing countries like Pakistan. It is necessary for today’s young women to learn this modern technology.
The syllabus of computer information technology includes computer knowledge introducing software. Students are not only introduced to various languages but are also given training about the various parts and machinery, so that after completion of diploma young women can work as data entry operator, lab assistant, network administrator data base manager, programmer, graphic designer, web developer and can serve in a number of fields where information technology is applied.
